Aluminium- and zirconium oxide are increasingly being used
in sensory analysis.

The excellent electrical and mechanical properties of the alu-
minium oxide make it the prefered material for applications
where very good insulation characteristics, mechanical stability and
resistance against high temperatures and corrosion are required.

Typical applications are temperature- and pressure measurement
techniques as well as moisture, inclination and vibration sensors.
