Electrical insulating ceramics for various applications in electro-technics/electronics: High electrical resistance coupled with excellent mechanical strenght, even while operating under high temperatures, are ideal material properties for a wide range of isolators and special components. The process for manufacturing metalized aluminium oxide ceramics and free brazing of metal components has lead to a broadening of application in vacuum technics. The high adhesive strengths of these metal/ceramic joints of more than 100 Mpa and the reliability of these brazing joints are ideal for applications where a long lifetime is required.
